Wouldn't the CONCACAF Champions League be bigger than the MLS Cup since, it's officially over it and only been won by an MLS team twice, the last of which was 2000.

Simply 'outranking' it doesn't necessarily mean it's bigger. For example, does anybody care about the World Club Cup?

True, and the only way it would change would be for it to be open to all players, FIFA wouldn' allow it though.

The clubs would also throw a tantrum, and I'm not sure a lot of the players would care, either.

It seems like it would but I don't usually see MLS teams treating it that way. To me, it's almost as if MLS teams don't think they'll have a chance to win it so they don't put up too much of a fight.

Of course, RSL made it to the finals a few years ago, proving there are exceptions to every rule.

ETA: That and the Mexican teams are usually just better and they are in the middle of their season while MLS is in preseason or very early into MLS season.

Lol

I like the Johnstone's Paint Trophy tourney in FIFA when my player career starts with Wolves and I get loaned out to a lower side.

All the more reason to throw the kitchen sink at that sucker. Anything to knock Mexico's soccer mojo around.

International Prestigious:
World Cup
EUFA
Confederations Cup
CONMEBOL
Other Continental Championships
U- World Cups
Olympics

Club:
EUFA Champions League
FA CUP/ Copa Del Rey (probably bias)
CONMEBOL Copa America
EUFA Europa League
Other Continents Champions Leagues

US/ MLS fans:
World Cup
Dos e Cero (not a cup, but the most important game the USMNT play)
Copa America
Gold Cup
MLS Cup
Lamar Hunt Cup
CONCACAF Champions League (when MLS start winning/ growing more then it will be higher on list)

ETA: Club World Cup is somewhere on par with Other Continental Champions Leagues. Only the Clubs outside of EUFA really take it serious.
COPA America forget and added above Gold Cup based on how big it would be to beat the CONMEBOL.

true but it's just a name and format change, the MLS still has 2 CONCACAF Club championships.

The previous incarnation of the CONCACAF Champions League was the CONCACAF Champions Cup. LA Galaxy won it one year and DC United won it around the year 2000 by beating Toluca.

Post WC will be a really good time to ask questions with no soccer games going on.

Plenty of MLS will be on ESPN and NBC.

For MLS I would say CCL is more important than the SS, an SS gives only gives you a berth to the Champions League and since no MLS team has won it yet in its current form, that would be much more prestigious.
