90 for me today with 3 triples.

Played the South Course up here. If you are off the fairway you might lose a chunk of your iron from pebbles. Frustrating. Took a sliver outta my 9i. Hit it 100x better. 3w was out driving everyone on the reg.

CopperMill was looking good too. Shot 83. Shitty irons. Great driver and putter. Good to see the thread again

If you guys can deal with the heat you should visit Scottsdale in the summer. You can play some of the nicest courses in the world for next to nothing if you don't mind playing in 115 degree heat.

I got the Farmers Classic this weekend. My favorite of our annual tourneys. 2 day 2 man scramble spread over 4 courses. Big Calcutta. It's a hoot

My cousin just moved back out there. I'm gonna visit him and play some golf.

He's always telling me that the heat doesn't bother him there compared to here.

Well come on out! You can play nice courses here for around $50 in the summer, in the winter they are $300+. Scottsdale only has around 250,000 people but over 12 million rounds of golf are played a year so you know its pretty serious out here. Also, thats just Scottsdale and there are hundreds of other courses in the Phoenix metro area.

I played July in Vegas ( Revere and Wolf Creek). It was that hot. Had the FL water. It only bothered me during putting for some reason. I can handle it for cheaper green fees.

Nope, I only play 3-4 times a year so I suck! About 5-6 years ago I lived on a course, 3 doors down from the driving range and I used to hit for 30 minutes every day before work, so I can hit the ball straight and we had a putting green in my backyard my entire childhood so I can putt but overall I am still terrible compared to my friends that go a few times a month. If you give me a month or so heads up ill hit the range, play a couple of rounds, and step up my deadlifts so we can at least have fun when we play though!

How was ellendale. Greens will take a couple years before they soften. It's usually a club less just because they are so firm. Playing there next weekend. Perfect course for the mini

Got a 50% coupon on eBay for Taylormade. Really like their tour preferred wedge so I bought 50-60. Also bought some nerd I know a mini tp and some balls. Pretty good deal on eBay if anyone is interested. Coupon was $30 for up to $2000

Gulf Shores Golf Club is very good for the price. It is where I play when I go. It is not as penal for wayward teeballs. The greens have always been in good shape and the pace is brisk.
