Boxing. It would be cool to compete 2 to 3 days out of the year, get paid ridiculous money. And it would be cool if every in the world called me "champ" and I was introduced as the undisputed champion of the world.

If you guys are going poker, I'm going NASCAR. Jimmie Johnson has to have the best life of pretty much any professional athlete...minus the wife and kids.

Basketball, easily

I'm a 6'2 white guy. If I'm the best basketball player in the world, the amount of attention I would get would be incredible.

first choice is golf. if youre the elite, best of the best, endorsements would be through the roof. hand pick the tournaments you play in. long playing career-- into the mid 40s as a high end player, through your 50s on the senior tour is thats what you desire. you dont have the punishment on your body as a football player or the miles on your tires as a basketball player, or the brutal long summer days in baseball. not a team sport so you dont have to worry about being drafted to cleveland or salt lake city. you pick where you live and play. and lastly, it would be awesome to be amazing at golf. just to tee it up and know you will dominate the person youre playing with... awesome!

back up: (american born) futboler (soccer). salaries are huge for high end players. they truly are international super stars. the first american born crisiano ronaldo level star will change the endorsement game. b/c of their world wide appeal, they would obliterate tiger's former yearly endorsement income.

I'd go NFL QB because that's fricking awesome. Being Tom Brady would be pretty fly.

Other choice is golf

This is a really interesting question, actually. I think I'd probably like to be a top NFL linebacker or running back.

You chose probably the worst positions you could choose. Short careers and lots on injuries, constant risk of head trauma

You all are out of your mind for saying golf. During the best months of the year, you're spending Thursday-Sunday competing all day long in the most frustrating game invented.

Top athlete? I'm going kicker in the NFL. They're paid millions to work out in the nicest facilities, spend the afternoons kicking a ball and then come in during chump time to kick a PAT. If you're a top kicker in the NFL, most field goals are chip shots and again, you're the top kicker in the NFL, so you'll make most of your game winners and 50+ yard bombs.

15 year career. 2.5 million per year. No long term injuries. Yeah, I'd take that job.

If you're the top draw you can play when you want.

Don't have to worry about dementia or torn ligaments, etc.
