Here ya go. Raise that budget $50 and you got a damn good yak.

ETA: The slayers are perfect for fly fishing. It's wide open deck is specifically designed with fly fisherman in mind.

My setup, pretty basic but it gets the job done. I want to add a push pole and an anchor trolley. I caught a few trout and a nice red today.

Anchor trolly is next on the list for my yak. And a stake out pole.

Nah, my phone died before I got back. I need to get a waterproof camera or a go pro. I get nervous taking my phone out when I'm on the water.

I use this to protect my phone when I'm kayaking.

I just use a smartphone watertight box. Got it from walmart in the camping section. My iPhone fits in it perfectly.

I don't worry about dropping it in the water. I'm just extra careful when I take it out.

No, I take it out

ETA: it's a hard plastic case. I was thinking about getting one of those like you posted though. It would be neat to take underwater pics. But the water is too dirty for that anyway.

The case and the float are both made by Lifeproof. Great product. I ordered them off of their website. If you search around, you can find a code for 10% off.

Just a FYI, this maybe a common known thing, but I had the damndest time finding true milk crates. But Home Depot on Coursey now carries milk crates for $8. They were in the front between entrance and garden center entrance.

Nice screen, you can watch NetFlix on it if fish aren't cooperating.

And yes, very jealous and not afraid to admit it.

For my phone I use the Kwik Tek DRY PAK phone case/bag. The pros are that it floats, you can use touchscreen through the bag, and better than hard case sound through the bag. The cons are that it has horrible glare and can get water spots or dirt on it that make it difficult to see.
