TS% is already taken, so I never asked, did you ever come up with a clever, shorter nickname for Total Shooting Percentage?

Because he's a selfish dick. How has the entire NBA community not caught on to this already?

"I want a max contract, but if you can't build a title winning team around me while I hog all the cap space, I'm leaving."

Lebron has been the best player in the NBA for 8+ years and has 4 MVPS and has never had a MAX contract...... You lose at the internet today

Is it actually a question if he hasnt been the best player since 2006? Regardless, change my post to whatever years you want and it changes nothing. Drewbie lost at the internet today

Five other people have won MVP in that timespan. Five different people. Hell, he wasn't even the best player THIS year. Ask how many of the other MVP's within that timeframe are on a max contract.

And honestly, I think I am more of an anti-hater fanboy. I never cared for Lebron or Peyton manning until I came on this site and the mouthbreathers actually made me start rooting for them

Michael Jordan was the best player from 1989-1998, but he doesnt have 9 MVPs.....

Well he was playing baseball during 2 of those seasons soooo.

Eta: anyone who really believes that LeBron has been the best player in the nba since 2006 is a damn fool and not worthy of debate. Not only are you utterly stupid, but you also say he has never taken max money? Are you simple son?

The 06-07 season is when he took the cavs to the finals, and when he became the best player the league(his first All-Nba 1st team happened in 05-06 though). And yes he had the most he could make his younger years, but since he has been eligible for a cap crippling max contract, he has never had it

In a dogshit East.

And yet when he was supposedly the best player in the league in 06-07, he couldn't even make First Team All-NBA. Dirk, Kobe, Duncan, Nash, and Garnett were all better.

Which would be a max contract. He didn't even take an actual paycut to come to Miami either. He wound up making more per year in his 4 years in Miami than he was in his last 2 years in Cleveland. And that's with the income tax savings too.

I read an article yesterday that said he's never been the highest paid player on his team. Anyone know if true?

He and Bosh received equal pay the past 4 seasons. He would have been the highest paid player on the Cavs in 08-09 and 09-10 if Wallace and Shaq weren't traded to them on contracts that they already had. LeBron was already receiving the max contract that the CBA allowed him, so there's that.

Not really true. He was the highest paid player along with someone else. Guess it depends on how you view a tie.

did you question MJ when Malone and Barkley won MVPs? Yea, didn't think so.

As for selfish, he's never been the single highest paid player on his team in his career, so I think its safe to say you've lost this thread .
