definitely seems like it. a few years back my son and I got on a bream bed and just wore them out. I came to my senses and thought about cleaning them all and told him not one more goes into the live well unless you plan on scaling them - he had not yet been introduced to scaling. He said no problem. However, since then he is no longer greedy when it comes to keeping more than a mess of bream.
