I wouldn't mind it as long as we can resign the new guys.

I don't think that would be bad at all. He's a fun player to watch, too.

ETA: I also agree with this

Yeah I was just checking on his stats. Not bad. He doesn't rebound but I suppose you have two big men now who would.

I just hate losing a team guy like Ryno, but if it makes the team better then whatever.

Pretty much my thoughts exactly when I got the email forward.

Immediately went to basketball reference.

Obviously he's no star, but he's coming off his best year and if we can use the pick to shed gordon

And Reke rebounds really well for a guard. I really think that the Ryno for Green/14 trade makes sense for both teams. Green/18 is still solid. Green/27 I think I pass. It really all depends on what we do with the pick. If 14 is enough to dump EG but 18 is not, my opinion on the deal definitely is sullied.

We don't need stars. We have Davis. We just need guys who can give us 15 consistently and we're good to go. The key is to have players who are capable of putting if 30 when their numbers are called and Green certainly has the ability to do that.

Demps seems to be putting together an explosive group. If we can stay healthy, we'll finally have a team we can watch in May.

Green after All star break last year:

18.5 ppg in 29Min. 45% fg 42.8% 3pt

as a starter (48 games)

17.4 ppg in 31min 44% fg 38% 3pt

If you look at only last seasons stats Green looks like he's a decent amount better than Wilson Chandler, who everyone has been clamoring for.

He's definitely a great locker room guy, but his personality isn't exactly going to fix up his back. In the past year he's dealt with a bum toe, a screwed up back, and an emotional trauma that would shake any many back a decade. I love Ryan as a Pelican, but he's been damaged goods this whole year. We are selling high here, and it's a classic, pragmatic Demps move.

That dude obviously craves the attention that comes with being a "source". It's not going to stop him.

If he was really worried about repercussions he wouldn't say shite

I can't do anything about it now. Sorry.

I got the info from someone else before I got it on here and wanted to see if the two lined up. They did. So I posted it.

We're potentially going to make more moves on draft night than anyone without any picks in the draft. Dell at least makes July - October fun. Case and point randomly checking PT tonight and seeing we obtained Asik. Already struck first.

I don't think its a big deal. If anyone really wanted to know the info, they could just quickly make a pelicans report account and ask him for it in 2 minutes.

It wouldn't shock me If this trade goes down , that the Pelicans would draft Dario Saric and stash him for two years. It was rumored last year that Demps was really high on him last year, had he elected to come out in the draft.

Demps needs guys that contribute now. He may not be GM by the time Saric comes over.

Or we could use that first round pick to dump Gordon.
