If Byrd keeps WM's running back that recently moved to Shreveport with his Mom, they'll be contenders.

CL had better be #32 or better, no way those chumps from St Amant put out better athletes than Raceland/Lockport.

Riverdale is good now?

i dated a girl from there back in the day and they sucked donkey dick

I dated a chick around my junior year from there too and I was dragged to a few games.

Going from a Rummel to a Riverdale game is quite an experience

One of them teams definitely doesn't belong in there and its Covington.

Covington had a good run last year, losing by a point to Parkway in semi's.

Are they going to drop off that far?

I heard that the move is not 100%. Hopefully the kid will stay at West Monroe.

Yeah they had a nice run and I doubt they drop off much if any. All that being said they aren't a top 4 team in 5A.

OK, fair enough. Which teams in the NOLA/southeast La area do you think is going to be competing for state in 5A? Hahnville, Desty, Ponchy...?

Heard OCS looked terrible at WM 7 on 7, going winless on the weekend. They are built to succeed in 7 on 7 much more than in a real game. I was shocked they didn't win a single game.

Its going to be interesting in that part of town for high school sports. Sterlington has super nice facilities for a town of its size.

Desty on lost 4 or 5 starters total. If they can replace Isom with someone consistent, they will be tough again. Defense lost their stud linebacker but shouldn't miss a beat.

Hahnville- new coach, new attitude, but young. Will be interesting to see how they do, Salt came in with a few months of the school year left and from what the kids have told me he is demanding discipline (something sorely lacking the last few years). Hopefully the kids buy in.

she wasn't into their sports... she went to NOCCA too, so she didn't really have much of a connection to the school anyways....
