11 teams left

Rummel, Acadiana, John Curtis, Warren Easton, West Monroe, Destrehan, Byrd, Landry-Walker, Evangel, University, Parkview Baptist,

now i'm just throwing possibilities out there. there will probably be one more WTF? pick

At least a couple of these teams will definitely not be top 10 teams in the fall.

And Rummel and Warren Easten as top 16 schools in the nation according to the USA Today...I don't know about that one.

Byrd would beat Calvary...it would be a hell of a game but it's not a stretch at all to say Byrd is better.

Rummel has a lot of key starters returning and are going for a three-peat. They also has several D-1 prospects.

What I'm saying is I'm sure there is 10 teams in Texas that can beat those two, much less the whole country. This split championship stuff sucks. I want to see the top publics and private schools go at it. Say what you want, but D1 last year was a tainted championship. Acadiana was clearly the best 5A team.

I didn't think so. The game was really evenly matched with Rummel coming out on top on the last drive by Byrd.

Can't argue that. Acadiana beat Rummel earlier that year, but the weather conditions were terrible I heard. That is a rematch I would have like to have seen, but we will never know. The split does suck.

The usa today poll is outdated... It's all about the HSFB 100 by Dallas Jackson... Louisiana rankings will be released later on today, and he interviewed the coach of the #1 team... Whether it's J.T., Jay Roth, Ted Davidson, or Tony Hull, we'll have to find out

Is that the order of the ranks or just a list?

But you're a Rummel fan. Byrd was clearly hosed as Rummel's last TD should've been a touchback.

i find it comical when people rank teams they have never seen play......only highlight clips and number of d1 prospects...

like a former expert talking about a kid being a prospect that was no longer even playing football....

well if you asked mr. jackson to rank 5 more teams one of them probably wouldn't be Brother Martin

so +1 for him

and it is the preseason... no one has played yet

I was pretty sure UHS took a big hit with graduation last year. Maybe I was wrong.
