Ninja gaiden
Mega man/Zelda 2/punch out(tie, picking one would be like picking a child)

Street fighter 2
Pilot wings
Sim city
The great thing about nes games was just how fricking difficult they were. There was very little saving meaning beating many games was a huge accomplishment (back then)

Didn't have an SNES.
But I enjoyed the Castlevania series, Zelda, and Baseball Simulator 1.000.

i didnt beat contra or super mario bros 3 until like 2006 
. think i knocked out bubble bobble in like '04. i grew up with n64 though and would only go to those NES games and sega sparingly.
now probably my 2 favorite video games of all time, though.

Chrono Trigger is my favorite SNES based RPG ever, but the format and style of Super Mario RPG always resonates with me. Such an underrated game.
