A house full of strong players would be a detriment to each and every player. No way of knowing how Derrick would do because, like everyone else, he would have to play a different game.

Has there only been one TRUE all star season (like, not just bringing them back as "coaches" or mixing all stars and new folks)?
You'd think CBS would look into having another one. Although, I can imagine that some of the true All Stars might not have any interest in going back on the show.

So I think some would align with him
People gravitate to certain personality types, and he has the type (or at least can foster it). It's one thing to go into the all-star cast saying you won't fall for his crap, but it's another thing once you've been in there for a month and those are the only people you can associate with. His strategy is based off of real and proven psychological methods that law enforcement has been using extremely effectively for years. And considering he goes out of his way to not get blood on his hands, there will be far less people that will target him as the season goes on.
Plus he did prove that he was loyal to his original Hitmen alliance to the end, and to the greater Bomb Squad alliance up to the point right before they had to start turning on each other. Heck he even talked Cody out of backdooring Caleb when Cody really wanted to because of the friction Cody was getting from Caleb over Amber, and he talked Cody into turning on Hayden and Nicole at the last minute basically due to loyalty. Yeah, he eventually turned on his alliance, but by that time the smart move was to start turning on them because they would've eventually turned on him and Cody.
I think people would still trust him, but they may be a bit more cautious with him at first. But due to human nature, it wouldn't take long in the house for people to fall for his undercover/psychological tactics.

I hope not, only because I would have to see Rachel again.

Someone had the idea of a "second chance" season. Bring back people that had potential, but got booted early.
Don't remember which poster it was that came up with the idea, but it's a great idea.

Not saying it was me but I had that idea. People that were liked by fans and seemed to have a decent game that just kinda got booted quick. I think it would be solid. You would have to set a no jury or no top 6 or something like that to make it decently fair. aka not getting the people that nobody wants but production would put in

Good news everyone. CBS has signed a contract ordering another two seasons.

If they even cast a fricking cousin or a neighbor of a celebrity or former houseguest, I'm burning down the lot.

so who were the contestants that were "recruited" for this past season

Victoria admitted it at one point. She was scoped out in a bar.

Brittany was also "recruited" at a bar.

She could have done damage by latching onto a Cody type early on. Her not latching onto the little alliance with Hayden and Nicole was a mistake. Hayden, Nicole, Jocasta , Donny, and Brittany could have made some noise. Might have been enough to keep Christine loyal and also working as a spy.

She could've easily latched on to Cody early on, and played him for awhile. Her refusal to "flirt" with him ended her game pretty quickly.

I've been saying that for awhile. Donny, Nicole, and Hayden could've won enough comps to make it a lot more interesting with Jocasta & Brittany's vote in tow. But Donny had a hard time opening himself up to alliances, and Nicole & Hayden wanted so badly to be part of the "cool" crowd. That was those players biggest mistakes.

quote:I think Derrick would do well in an all-star season because he'd let the stronger personalities go at it. He has no room for vanity in his game. I can't wait to see him in a legit all-star format in a few seasons. It's amazing that nobody really grasped that Derrick was pulling all the strings in the house until after they left the house, even Cody. He was caught off guard by how the jury perceived what had happened in the house. Cody isn't an idiot. He wouldn't have taken Derrick to the final 2 if he thought he had no chance of beating him. He thought he would win. He underestimated Derrick just like every other person in the house did until it was their time to go. It was funny watching him defend the notion that he wasn't Derrick's puppet to the jury and that he played his own game. He couldn't go 10 words without saying Derrick's name.
A house full of strong players would be a detriment to each and every player. No way of knowing how Derrick would do because, like everyone else, he would have to play a different game.
