me and 4 buddies have a stock club and we got 350 shares of AAPL. I think we bought it originally at under $20 out first few shares

yes on all my stocks. XOM, PG, Philip Morris International etc...

I'm just getting started in drips. PG and PM are definitely on the list.

My biggest by far is DIA, followed by QQQ, then way back in 3rd is Lorillard.

Yes I read what BigFella advice was here and I bought Philip Morris International and Visa. I recently sold visa and went with a well managed mutual fund in its place. I've been in the stock markets since 1994 mainly with blue chip stocks and mutual funds. I always reinvest dividends.

I'll never understand the aversion to owning an index fund and the love for blue chips around here.

Not saying it's bad, but why own 5 blue chips instead of the S&P 100? The risk adjusted return is so much better.
