Exactly, and in the early 80's chows became very popular. For a time a female pup could fetch $250 and a male $200. It did not take long though for people to realize that the Chow is a hyper aggressive dog much like the Pit. After a couple years the price of chows collapsed and now it's rare to see them. Why were people able to see the threat that chows posed but cannot see the threat from Pits?

Of course the pitt will always get blamed in cases like this. Who's bright idea was it to have not one but 3 Pitts in home/around her? Those people make me sick

For the record it is spelled Pit Bull, Pit, or Pits, it is two words and only one T.
Also, white trash/tPOS aren't the only ones who own pit bulls. I'm sure they make up over 95% of owners, so it is very fair to stereotype and make assumptions. To claim that ALL PB owners are trash is pretty ignorant. I know in Austin there is a large population of liberals who strongly support this breed because a) they support 'rescuing' dogs instead of buying and 90% of shelter dogs are pit mixes and b) they feel like they are standing up for a cause due to the bad rap they get.
