Mike Piazza was drafted in the 62nd round. That turned out alright I think

Actually Laird has a very quick bat. Go back and read reports from when he was a Freshman. This year he has chosen to focus on going opposite field.

I personally think Manziel has a better chance to make the MLB then a 30th round guy like McMullen

McMullen has decent potential IMO. I think he was drafted so low because he never became a complete hitter. He tried to pull most everything, causing him to pull off of outside pitches.

He likes to go out and get drunk and frick sexy sloots. Nobody that's in college, much less a Heisman winning QB, ever does that.

Back to the original question (ridiculous how a post can morph into another worthless topic)...Laird has mechanically flawed throwing motion. Surprised a little league coach did not fix it. Never seen a college player throw like that before Laird.
