While it's hard to compare across genres, it's always worth seeing what guys in those different genres think of a guy. I went to a festival last year in which Johnny Marr played and for the rest of the weekend, just about every other band, regardless of their style, raved about how great he was during their own set.

Yeah, comparing kind of cheats the awesomeness out of most things because someone always favors one or the other...which usually means discrediting their least favorite.
