If Bregman were to play a different position he would be moved to 2B. He played it on the USA team over the summer and will likely play it in the minors and majors.

I actually haven't. I'm saying it's best for LSU and Bregman to begin catching ASAP. I didn't say RF, DH, 1B. I said a position that he has played, and a position he could translate better on professional level.

There is really no evidence to suggest this.
If Bregman was a catcher it would greatly improve his stock, that's why he was going to play it more his senior year in HS. But as it stands he hasn't caught much at all and LSU probably can't afford for him to experiment.

I suspect 1b,2b, C, DH and third base starters will all be current players and no freshman will be good enough to start in those positions. (SS of course will be Bregman).

Did the people asking that bregs be moved to catcher watch his play in the field the last 2 months? Kids has become a hell of a defensive shortstop.
