This show is losing me. A couple good scenes but the mom flipping out was sooooo cheesy. And Camren is still miserable. Her character is terrible. She's mad they called her white trash so she was going to spray paint their house? So stupid.
The characters are not very likeable.

I want to like this show, but it is crawling right now. The story hasn't advanced much at all. I am sticking with it, but I am not as pumped about it as I was initially.
Donna is maybe the only likeable character. My problem is that every time she is on the screen, I can't quit questioning why she is with Gordon. She is smarter than him and smoking hot.

Yea the show is losing me.. Sucks because it looked to be promising.
Does anybody else feel like the main character always has way too much make up on? It is strange looking to me.

Yeah. The wife does really clean up well. With her hair back and that outfit she had on last night she was all kinds of hot.
Show itself is ok so far for me. It is still too early to tell if it will be excellent or just pretty good.

I watched the first 3 episodes last night. My random thoughts:
- I really enjoy the music and look of the show. The Eurythmics type heavy synth music gives it a certain feel that is probably my favorite aspect so far.
- The main character has excellent charisma, and the fact that he is a complete sociopath makes for interesting television.
- I like the idea of the Punk Rock chick programmer character, but the actress just seems really weak to me for the role. The character needs to be played a little more cynical and darker for it to work better. Something about her voice just takes me out of her character.
- It seems like a solid show that I will stick around for the first season on for sure. It does have it's cheesy and unnecessary scenes. Not sure how much of that is intentional 80's cheesiness and how much is poor writing.
- It seems like they may be making a storyline out of a curious attraction by Gordon to Cameron which seems unnecessary. The whole conversation between him and his wife where he didn't disclose that Cameron was a female was really odd. Made me think he has cheated before.

Didn't know anything about this show because I haven't really watched anything on AMC since Breaking Bad ended. Going to check it out tonight to at least see if they get the feel of Dallas back then.
I graduated & moved to Dallas in 1983. Literally went out every night for at least the first six months. Two-for-one happy hours and free buffets every night during the week. Splash Days (wet T-shirt contests that ended up being topless) every weekend!
If they don't have guys picking up girls in the Tom Thumb grocery store next to some of the best bars, it's not authentic.

You're right. It could have been anywhere. Was hoping someone could squash the image 13 years of the show DALLAS falsely portrayed.
This wasn't interesting at all. I could see an IT person liking it but who else gives a crap about their work discussions?
The whole business people not getting along with computer guys has already been over done. A movie might be the right amount of time to get all of these business aspects in and it still be entertaining. I've never seen Jobs (2013) or Pirates of Silicon Valley (1999), is there anything more to this than them?
The blonde and the guy's IBM employed dad are the only interesting characters in this tonight.
Are there enough IT guys to keep a show like this on the air?

Show still seems to be spinning its wheels. I know some shows start off slow and end up great. But I don't know if this will be one of them.

I finally caught up to this thread but haven't seen the last episode. This show is ok but I guess my tech interests keep me watching it. It has it's moments.

If you think Gordon's wife is hot in the show, check out her real life photos. Same for Cameron.

pics bro! Seriously, this last episode is losing me. Did he just leave a guy dead in the street?
Posted on 7/11/14 at 10:58 am to Mr Gardoki
I liked the last episode, but the dead guy in the street was a big WTF moment.

Just waiting for Donna's boss to come on to her.

Just google the cast's names & then google pics. Sorry, best I can do.

I'd say they are about as attractive as they look on the show. Cameron maybe a little more bc she shows more skin

Donna is gonna get nailed this episode and love it. I've enjoyed the series so far but see others losing on board losing interest.

Well, that plot line didn't turn out the way I was expecting.
