I remember reading an A&M guy saying the same thing. Pretty sure even LSU sites had some reports on it. It wasn't just an Ole Miss spin.

Though, yes, it may be attention seeking in nature, it may not be that far from the truth.
As far as godchaux, we got who we got.
Personally I believe Godchaux has more raw potential, but as far as film goes I would have taken Speaks. He is gonna be a stud, but only time will tell. Speaks got much more penetration, has better quickness off the snap, and seemed to play with more aggression. If Brick can mold Godchaux, he could be special.
I would like to see Godchaux bulked up and be a space eater playing DT, as I'm not sure his first step can be elite even with work.
Time will tell.
Our staff did an amazing ability closing, but it would have been interesting if Willis came off the board earlier to see if we would have pursued Speaks harder sooner
