re: X-Men Days of Future Past Thoughts and Reviews (With Spoilers)

They need to quit dicking around and get those adamantium claws back on Wolverine.

They never should've gotten rid of them.

It's like having movies where Superman can't fly.

I felt like it got a bit slow at times. I would put it in the top 10 for superhero movies though.

Honestly I think if you gave me an entire movie of just Fassbender as Magneto it might be my new favorite superhero movie. Him hunting Nazi's is still the best part of the two films.

I feel almost sure that Mystique and Wolverine will be Horsemen. It makes sense story wise since the fact that would get Magento and Xavier fighting together again and put more personal stakes in the story. Plus Apocalypse has the power to greatly enhance the power of mutants, to where Mystique could now feasibly use the powers of mutants she morphs into, making her the most powerful mutant by default.

As for why they'd ally with him, Apocalypse's 4 horsemen aren't really allies, but they're his mind slaves and are forced to do his will. I could see Mytique going to him initially, since in some iterations he has the desire to turn everyone into mutants, but she'd just end up as his unwilling slave.

As for the other two, I'm hoping for Angel and Mister Sinister (who would be completely into Apocalypse).

Honestly, Fassbender's Magneto is the single best representation of a supervillain ever from comic to screen. Even Ledger's Joker wasn't that close to the comics, but Fassbender embodies everything there is about Magneto. His tragedy, his philosophy, his attitude, and his ruthlessness. Some people kind of think that he's a nice guy who is just misguided, but Days of Future Past shows that he's not a nice guy by just incredibly ruthlessly trying to kill Mystique right in front of her brother (who is also his best friend) and not thinking twice about it.

Just got out.
Good movie. I enjoyed it erasing last stand and adding depth to some of the characters.
As a fan of the arcade game, they need to made Rasputin more of a bad arse in these movies.
And what they did with quicksilver makes me happy about the potential of a flash movie/cameo

I thought Quicksilver was awesome! I'm anxious to see him in the next Avengers movie along with his sister.

I agree. .. guy could get more damage in quicker than magneto. Im just hoping that kind of badassery can be brought to dc movies regarding flash

Well, he has no special helmet so jean or professor x could end that power speed. Other than that , him and nightcrawler would be a fun scrap.

Also, quicksilver says his mom knew a guy that could bend metal but his mom didn't recognize magneto when she answered the door?
