In all fairness if you think he played for lsu for free that's just being a bit naive.

Unless he was taking money to throw the national championship game, then his statement is still correct.

JJ did not throw the MNC game. He played the exact same way in the game before the MNC against UGA in the sec championship remember? LSU did not get a single first down until the 3 quarter vs UGA.

That's the way JJ played his Junior and Senior years.

Hating a teenager because he doesn't play well (for free) for your favorite team is the sign of a lunatic.

Would up vote a thousand times if I could.

How is he doing a favor for Les?

Payton: Who the hell is calling now...."hello"
Miles: What's up Coach Payton, Les Miles here...
Payton: How are ya coach? What can i do for you?
Miles: Well, I have a favor to ask. Could you do me a solid and bring one Jordan Jefferson into camp to see if he passes the eyeball test? Just give him a look?
Payton: Well, I've seen plenty of highlights of this guy already, but ok...Just for you Les.
Miles: Great, I will have him give your people a shout. I promise, he's got the chest to compete and display a constipated look on his face.

It's good marketing for your program if you can make a phone call and get someone a job interview. I will get a hold of Les' cell phone records and let you know for sure in a couple days when i have more definitive proof.

That's how I envisioned this going down

I wonder what position he is trying out for. If the outcome of a nfl game depended on that bum as your qb, your ship would be sunk before it left the harbor .

Will NEVER make an NFL roster.

Sad to see teams are giving him false hope.

He isn't playing for free. However, in his case, he is too stupid to utilize the benefits of a scholarship anyways.

JJ deserved all the hate he got. Not only was he not good, he was arrogant, whiny, not a leader, and a thug piece of shite. Hell, he didn't get enough hate.

Maybe jordan jefferson can be our scout team manziel, newton, kaepernick, newton and big ben impersonator. Maybe Geno Smith if we face the jets in the super bowl.

He looked great coming out of HS, kind of reminded me of Warren Moon at that stage. Physical traits, yes. He just never wrapped his head around the game. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to play football well, but you have to put in some time and do a lot of study to succeed. Not sure if he was lazy or if he wasn't capable - but even so, QB is not a job for the lazy or stupid.

That's laughably false. Plenty of guys who try and study all they can and aren't good at football especially at QB.

I follow you but I think you missed the earlier part, which talked about a his skills and physical attributes out of High School. He had the physicals but he didn't have the other part.

You have to have the whole package, study all you want, have all the desire you want, there is a point where if you do not have the physical frame and abilities you ain't making it.

Yeah he compared him to Warren Moon which is insane.
