yea, i understood. was just a silly joke. This alpha mp mower is so new most the dealers can't tell me too much about them.

Theres a big dog dealer here in BR off of Old Hammond. I'm gonna wait till about late fall/winter to go deal. Might get better negotiation outcomes.

Honestly, prices are the prices. They had a good one though. Getting the mulching kit at their cost btw.

Frist thing to consider is where is the service department located. Who will handle the warranty work. If buying from a box store,find out who does their warranty work before you buy.

I have a Troybilt Colt 42" ztr. Bought it as a repaired return 5 years ago at Lowes for $1800. Only issue was the PTO clutch and installed new mulching blades. I bought a new PTO Clutch off of Amazon for $40 and blades for $28 also off Amazon. Mower has been great. It does have a welded deck. However I think Cub Cadet owns Troybilt. I mow 2 acres in Florida every other weekend and 2.5 of 3.5 acres here in Georgia every other weekend.

Alright... Let me see if my detective skills work. I looked up his past posts until I found a land mark. He said he lived near Palmetto State Park. That's near Abbeville. Looked up the dealer locator on Big Dog's website. There is only one nearby. Abbeville Snapper.
