Strangely enough, I got my wisdom teeth removed over 2 years ago and have seemingly had issues with my breath ever since. I don't think it's related, but certainly coincidental

Hmmm, interdasting. I wonder if there was a complication with the extractions of the wisdom teeth. Sometimes you can develop a communication or fistula between the oral cavity and the sinus as a result of a difficult extraction.

Another possibility is a fracture of the maxillary tuberosity (bone directly behind your upper wisdom tooth) and a resulting fold in the tissue as a result of suturing the excess tissue closed.

You might want to consider going back to the oral surgeon that did the wisdom tooth extractions and tell him your issues and have him check it out.

I had tonsil stones. Finally bit the bullet and had a tonsillectomy. One of my best decisions ever. It wasnt as bad as i had always heard. Just keep on schedule with your pain sauce and its not too bad.

How much do you know about braces? I am missing my 2nd molars on the top and the orthodontist wants to pull my wisdom teeth forward to close up the space if I choose to get braces. That doesnt seem like a great idea to me, what is your thought? I think id rather leave the space and get implants later on.

Used to get tonsil stones.

Started eating honey in the mornings with my oatmeal and it has gone away completely. Try eating a teaspoon of honey a day. I know it sounds crazy, but I read where honey can cure bad breath. I never noticed my breath being bad, but I know that honey has gotten rid of the stones altogether.

Yeah, I really like it. Just turn it on and move the nozzle in the grooves of the teeth and you're good. I've even flossed after to check and see if it's working and it did.

Oh and I had serious sinus problems.

I googled local honey and found a place that sells it. I talked to the lady that worked there and she recommended honey from a certain area. At least try it...it's expensive for honey and you have to store it in a place where it won't crystalize, but it was worth it. My sinus infections are gone and so are the stones. I used to get sinus infections 5-6 times a year.

Good luck man.

He'll yes it works. Floss your teeth with it but make sure your hit where the gums and teeth meet. Inside and outside. My hygienist has been praising me teeth and gums the last few years. This is coming from someone who was seriously in jeopardy of losing all his teeth just three years ago. (40 years old btw)

I am assuming that the second molars are congenitally missing. Depending upon your age and the extent of the eruption of the third molars, moving them orthodontically seems reasonable. This can be difficult to do since the forces required to move this tooth into position is like trying to pull a full bucket out of the water while you stand in a boat.

I rarely see implants placed into the upper second molar space due to proximity to the maxillary sinus, quality of bone in this area and access by the surgeon to this site. Implants placed in the second molar area have the worst long term success for these reasons.

I am actually working on a case with a local ortho where we are removing an unrestorable second molar and moving the 3rd in it's place. I think it will work out in this case.

Waterpik is a good adjuct to flossing, but not a replacement for flossing. I just doesn't remove the plaque pellicle that adheres to your teeth and can only be removed by mechanical means (flossing)

As said by Will Cover, use Therabreath. When I started using individual flossers to help me be regular with flossing, therabreath toothpaste, and therabreath rinse, it fixed everything. I left it for a week trip, but used crest and regular mouthwash with the same frequency and my breath was bad within 10 minutes. Most places have the toothpaste, but target and walmart have the rinse. Try it out then just buy online at the Dr. Katz website. The bottle comes with great coupons. They even have travel toothpaste and individual rinses for trips. I will always use it because it is the only thing close to working as well as it does.

Mahatma Gandhi was a peculiar person. He walked barefoot everywhere, to the point that his feet became quite thick and hard. He often went on hunger strikes, and even when he wasn't on a hunger strike, he did not eat much and became quite thin and frail. He also was a very spiritual person. Finally, because he didn't eat much and when he did his diet was peculiar, he developed very bad breath. He became known as a super-calloused fragile mystic hexed by halitosis.

How do you struggle with halitosis. You either have it or you don't. You either brush your teeth or you don't.

I've always been pretty conscious to avoid breathing in somebody face because honestly everybody's breath stinks except that three seconds after you take a tic tac.
