Got to see him play at Eisenhower. He would straight blow people up. Really happy he became a Tiger and had a solid career. The sky is the limit with him. Great rep for LSU.

Hope he can help recruit the htown area on into the future.

I forgot about the beast mode hit he made on UF's Jeff Driskel.

Loston was a headhunter a fricken beast! Hope he can stay healthy. I can see a healthy Loston being an all pro, and have a long NFL career. That being said he needs to stop leading with his head "concussion's" will have a very very short NFLcareer.

Not unless he develops coverage skills. Far too often at LSU he failed to make the solid play at the expense of trying to make the "highlight" hit. Like it or not, with the emphasis on head injuries and the increase reliance on the passing game, the big hitting Safety is becoming a thing of the past. Teams have to have safeties who first and foremost can cover. The next wave of safeties are going to be guys who 3 years ago would have been CBs. You can see that change already starting to happen here at LSU with Mills set to start at FS next year

I would have LOVED to see him play before the new rules. He would have left a trail of bodies similar to LaRon Landry.

Don't agree with this at all. a heavy hitter, sound tackler and great in coverage is the best. John Battle will be a beast of a SS. Adams can lay a link too. Oh, and don't forget Henry, a big safety we are hoping to keep for next year's class.

that was sick, his game translates well to the pro's they wont have him man up without help and he has no issues taking on big backs win win for Loston

That kid for Moo State. Was his name Zach Smith? Poor kid got leveled by LaFell in '07, then Loston almost knocked him out of his shoes in '09.

He plowed down Lionel Breaux (Ole Miss) in 2010. I saw him running at him from all the way down the field.

Guy could definitely bring it. I wish him well. He hung in there and was always dedicated to the school and the fans.

Awesome highlights but he had his share of boneheaded plays.

Well no shite. That's like saying the best type of QB is one who has a strong arm, great accuracy, and is a good decision maker.

There are very few Safeties who are big hitters AND cover like CBs. In today's football having that guy who is a "headhunter" on the back end is becoming a liability because those big hits usually bring penalties, ejections and fines along with it. That guy doesn't bring a lot of value to your team if he can't cover and his best attribute hurts your team by drawing flags.

DCs aren't stupid. They're going to give up the big-hitting Safety because the game is forcing them to do so in exchange for the guy who can lock down WRs and TEs one-on-one.

Some great plays in there!

I like that he ran backwards to secure the Ole Miss interception instead of focusing on the return. Solid player, best as an enforcer within a dominate secondary.
