Jesus, man. I meant I don't understand why people are taking such issue with the idea of a press conference announcing one of our most important players may or may not be returning next year. Exposure and getting people talking isn't a bad thing. You can say whatever you want about whether him leaving would be a good idea, but that's not relevant.

Exactly. Whatever keeps LSU basketball in the news is a good thing for our recruiting efforts. Doubly so if he announces he's staying.

You guys. How is the presser not a good thing? He's staying, good for LSU. Optimism for next year grows. He leaves, still good for LSU longterm. It suggests that the staff got him ready in one year which will be attractive to future recruits.
If he's a projected 1st rounder he's gone. FYI...
