Fine, then.

Archie Manning: Plays for the worst team in the NFL, then is traded to the only team worse than the Saints at the time, is traded again to an even worse team and gets sacked like 39 times in his final NFL game, and then raises kids with 3 Lombardi Trophies.

But some of this was addressed in SEC Storied.

didn't Swilling win the NFL Defensive Player of the Year in 1991... maybe 1992?

i remember him going the hell off one of those years. He had a lot of QB sacks.

Katrina to the Super Bowl run.

Hurt city, with a hurt QB, and a new coach. Heal together, build together, and win it all.

"Tom Dempsey Rules". A play off the real Tom Dempsey Rule which states no alterations to a kicker's shoe. They can talk about how long the record stood and the transition to soccer style kicking.

I would like to see a 30 30 story on Bounty Gate, and the damage it did to the organization. The story should focus on the lies perpetuated by the media and the NFL, and the way the NFL covered up the fact that ALL teams in the league had similar things going on in the locker room.

If the great Jim Brown can go on NFL network and state that the Saints got the raw end of the deal because this has been going on since he was a player; I think that makes a hell of a statement.

Of course we all know this would never happen.

It was 1992, Saints went 12-4 and still only got the wildcard.

Swilling owes Ricky a lot for his success and was the beneficiary of playing opposite Jackson his whole career, especially that year. Swilling never did much when teams weren't dealing with Ricky on the other side and was a non-factor once he was traded.
