I agree that WSP can get old pretty quick especially when they start dragging out each and every song. At times I'm like finish the song already. FTR, I haven't been to a wsp show in a few years.

It really is comical how how much people hate on WSP on here... I understand you may not like them, but saying they are a terrible band is asinine.

Most sold out shows a Phillips Arena (not that big of a deal)
Most sold out shows at Red Rocks (that says something)

If you don't like JB & the boys, your loss. More room for me to boogie.

The real competition is going to take place this summer, who pulls the better looking SEC girls to their southern shows, Panic or Phish. I'll go with Panic.

Dave Matthews Band is 10x better than WSP and has hotter girls. WSPSUX

No argument from me on this one. DMB is very good and has a unique sound which is what I appreciate about WSP and some of the other "jam" bands. Bands like WSP, Phish, The Samples, etc and bands like them have such unique sounds.

On paper that sounds great but Red Rocks is a relatively small/medium sized venue. Phish has to perform at Dick's Sporting Goods Park when they play Denver because Red Rocks is too small. That is a 30,000 capacity vs. 8,000.

Red Rocks is a way cooler venue than Dicks. I'd much rather a smaller, more personal venue then watching ants on stage

Obviously Red Rocks is a better looking venue but that sold out shows statistic is skewed because other bands moved on to bigger venues in the Denver metro a la Dick's and Pepsi Center.

I got laughed at for asking why my panic friends always refer to them as this.

It is a panic thing isn't it?

You don't have to get defensive... I'm just saying there is a reason WSP has done this and it's not because they suck

Phish is awesome. I like both bands. It is possible

I think the hate mostly comes from a few vocal ones who you may have to question their judgement based on high praises of a their favorite band appealing to an audience of the worst wsp/phish/moe wook fans imaginable merging with dubsnob glowstick candy ravers.

Sold out by having an audience larger than 6K people? Sure, I guess.
