No team is giving up anything of value for a guy with 2 knee injuries in as many seasons with a $90+ million contract

So RTR would you trade Conley and a few draft picks for Rose?

No I wouldn't give up one of the better point guards in the NBA for a guy who hasn't played in 2 years.

I also wouldn't trade away the youngest MVP in the NBA if I was Chicago.

No way they would get anything close to equal value of a potentially healthy Rose. The likelihood that he stays healthy might not be great, but if they trade Rose and he returns to form, the criticism would be strong.

With his playstyle, one of two things is going to happen:

1) Because he balls so hard/physically, he will injure himself AGAIN

2) He has to tone his game down to avoid injury, making him less useful than what put him in MVP contention

The Bulls seemed ok without him. Obviously it would ideal to have Rose at full health, but that's his main issue, staying healthy.

Someone desperate will offer too much for him. If you feel like you are getting ripped off, keep him and hope for the best.

selling Rose at his lowest value seems like a terrible idea.

Well, his value is literally nothing right now.

Seriously, if the Bulls cut him right now, who in the NBA would give him the kind of money he wants after having 2 major injuries 2 years in a row?

Bulls aren't contenders and selling low, which they would be doing, isn't a winning prescription.

Trade Dunleavy
Amnesty Boozer
Sign Melo (which is possible outright btw, AND they keep Gibson)

If Rose is even 70% of what he was when he won MVP (heck even if he isnt), the Bulls with Melo can challenge Miami.

If Rose comes back healthy and at 100%, with the way Noah has progressed and the team, as a whole, plays great defense, they can beat the Heat.

Dat defense

I wouldn't be surprised if this is the last year of Miami's big 3.
