What's up with Peterson?. Hires caddie away from his longtime friend/ mentor David Toms last fall then fired him end of March and can't make a cut. Good for old Toms caddie Bill Haas picked him up after firing his brother/caddie same week.

Brechtel Park was shitty. TPC is not shitty. it's a great course. maybe not PGA good, but it's good nonetheless.

Money Hill would be great! Not sure the location is as ideal, but the course itself is great.
Where else would be a better choice in LA?

LaTour is pretty good. I would think the tour players would tear it up.

Atchaf would get tore up plus it's not in good enough shape.

LOL at TPC being a great course.
English Turn in its prime was a great course.

Can TPCL be redesigned to better accommodate the pro player?
A ton of things. Not having a 220-230 yard par 3 when you have to land it on a very firm green and have 2 slopes to deal with would be the first. Having it fan friendly would also be great. It sucks to be walking on pine straw and dirt and under trees all day. Parking sucks but its like that at every TPC Course I have been except Sawgrass. The greens are fast firm and bumpy most of the time. Im sure they have been verticutting pretty hard or they will be grainy as hell too.

Its a shame the bluffs couldn't accommodate the crowd, that course from the tips could give them a challenge

Greens bumpy at TPC? The greens have always been near perfect everytime I've ever played it.

English turn is in great shape right now

There's about 5 courses I'd pick before TPC to play the tournament at...
Money Hill
English Turn
The Bluffs
Squire Creek
Heck, even U Club.

You must have played it at 8am.

Ah yes. U club. We could all park at the casino and get shuttled from there.

And there's plenty of room at the Bluffs to host a tournament. Only issue is it's in BFE in relation to any semblance of a golf population.

Have played there a dozen or so times. Not a huge sample size. But they've been near perfect each time. Played in the State Am there a couple years ago and they were some of the best I've ever putted on. And the weather was horrific that weekend.

Squire would be legit! English Turn and U-club, not so much.
