Well, it had Hendrick's, but the drinks were small and weak. It was a bust all over. Fortunately, I had an ample supply of liquor in my room and after more gin, I'm now having decaf with Bailey's on my balcony with the praline that turn down service gifted. It's another lovely night in Nola. The waiter didn't offer dessert not that we'd have ordered it.
Back to the real world Tuesday, sadly.

Thanks MD, O Brah. Great Easter Sunday. Back to work soon. Not so fun. Cheers all.

I don't like any crawfish meals.

They just have too distinct of a taste that I don't like. I don't even like them fried on a platter or poboy.

did easter supper with some friends on Saturday night. i cooked:
pork roast w/ rice & gravy
cauliflower gratin
black-eyed peas
skillet bread
for easter sunday breakfast, we had buttermilk/oatmeal pancakes w/ macerated strawberries and cane syrup
i originally planned to put a ham on the smoker on sunday. but we had so much leftover from saturday night, it wasn't necessary. left more time to hangout with Mrs. Vedder and little Vedder. good day...

I smoked some chicken quarters on my WSM yesterday. They were pretty damn tasty!

I didn't put them on until we got back from church...probably put them on at around 1, and they were done in about 3 hours. I used my Maverick thermometer and took them off when they got to 165-170. I put a little sauce on them when they reached 160.
