What's the premise of Deadwood? I've seen season 1 of Boardwalk. Enjoyed it but don't really feel like getting back into it.

You would get a run down of the threads on the first page more than likely.

It's a "western" about them starting the camp of Deadwood and it's not officially part of the US yet so they don't have official laws or political positions.

Rome I'm currently watching and enjoying. Just two seasons so you can knock it out quick.

Boardwalk's first season is a giant setup season. It blows up after S1. Give it another shot

This show is all about the dialogue, plus it has one of the top 5 character ever in Al Swearengen. I loved it plus it's only 3 seasons so you could get through it fairly quickly.

so many good shows..

Rome-John Adams-Carnival-Boardwalk Empire-Trueblood(worth a watch..not the greatest ever)

Band of Brothers

The Wire (personal fav)

The Sopranos

Game of Thrones (fav if/when the series finishes)

Curb Your (decent..not the best on the list)

True Detective (bad arse acting combo.)

Deadwood (would be my fav if it didn't get cut short.)

The great dramas have been mentioned already. For some comedy I really liked Flight of the Concords. No one else has mentioned it so maybe it's not for everyone.
