He is a statue with a cannon. Thats it. Mobility escapes him. He will not be more than a back up his entire career.

I've been a Cowboy fan since '63 and I would rather they get Manziel than Mett. The Cowboys quarterback is gonna have to run for his life and Mett can't do it. I would rather see Mett go to Arizona.

Cleveland actually has accumulated some offensive weapons.

They have Josh Cribbs, an emerging TE, and a garbage offensive line

I assume you mean Josh Gordon? They also have one of the best LT and C in football, but the rest of the OL is pretty weak.

There are plenty of quarterbacks with mobility issues. Always have been, probably always will be. If Mett is only a back up his entire NFL career, I doubt mobility will be the deciding factor.

I agree that I don't want him to go to the Cowboys, but better them than Oakland, Jacksonville, Cleveland, to mention a few. I just want an LSU quarterback to finally be successful in the NFL.

This. I'm a Cowboy hater but there are worse teams to go to. Jacksonville or Oakland would be the kiss of death for his career.

Do any of you pay attention to offseason acquisitions? Mett going to Cleveland would actually be a good move from a talent standpoint. Then again, we do have a poster on here who thinks Josh Cribbs is still in Cleveland

True, Cleveland would not be the worst destination. The point is, he could do much worse than Dallas. Still think there's no way he ends up there. I think they may try to get a QB later in the draft, Mett will be gone.

I'm rooting for Mett to land in Arizona (and get his chance as Palmer's career comes to an end).

Cleveland wouldn't be terrible, I don't think Mett's talent set is a great fit for Dallas given their offensive line. People don't properly appreciate how much Romo does there.
