just feel like Mosley would be too good to pass up there if he was available at #27.

Center is a need but I like the Colorado State center more I guess. Would be cool with it if we got Martin though I guess.

I feel like I really chose this one because it has Bruce Ellington on it though. He's my favorite WR in the draft. I know its an unpopular opinion but hey lets face it... we have no shot at the stud WR's like Watkins and Evans. I like Matthews a lot though and would be happy to have him.

I wanted Randall Cobb a few years ago and Ellington reminds me of him only Ellington seems to have a lot more athleticism.... to me anyway.

Its 2 for me. The Saints get someone to cover the middle of the field which is a weakness with Lofton and Hawthorne. Arguably the top Center in the draft to cement the middle of our line. A nice weapon in Archer and one of my favorite CB's in the entire draft in Phillip Gaines.

It's obviously between 2 and 3, but I am leaning #2. I really really want Matthews, but

im going #2. dri and ellington would add serious speed to the offense. and im not sold on fuller as a press corner in robs defense.

2 with 3 in second based on my love of Matthews.

2 gives us two great guys to hopefully lay a lot early, 2 guys with speed to to add to the offense that you're not giving up high picks for, and a legit corner prospect.

I love both Walter football and optimum scouting report. Love both of them. If we can get a draft near those 2, I would be thrilled.

But, I think we get better value with walter football mock,

quote:

quote: 27 ILB C.J. MOSLEY ALABAMA 58 C MARCUS MARTIN USC 91 WR BRUCE ELLINGTON SOUTH CAROLINA 126 RB DRI ARCHER KENT STATE 167 CB PHILLIP GAINES RICE 169 OT MICHAEL SCHOFIELD MICHIGAN 202 DE TAYLOR HART OREGON

Mosley is the best ILB and 1 of the best defensive players in the draft. Getting him at 27th would be the steal of the draft. Fap so hard if we get him.

Then, Martin, Ellington, and Archer next. All 3 guys fit into what we do, great value picks, and are in position of need. Love those 3 picks.

And then my favorite CB in the draft in Gaines in the 5th. 6'0 193lbs. 4.38 in the 40 with a 36.5inch vert. Great size, elite speed and ball skills. Very smooth and fluid in his backpedal and changing direction. Gets in and out of his breaks very easy. Was the best in the drills at the combine. True shutdown CB. Played 1v1 with the opponents #1 WR for 2 years straight. Only allowed 13catches on 40 targets this year while defending 13 others (4 interceptions, 9 PBUs) . Led the nation in PBUs in 2012 with 18. And he has 38 career PBUs, which is top 10 all time and a Rice record. Could end up being the best CB in this draft. He is a stud. But, I dont think he will last til the 5th. Only reason hes projected as a mid round guy is because hes a 5th year senior so hes a little older, player at Rice, and has some injuries early on in his college career. Based on his college tape, talent and what he did at the combine, he gets a 2nd round grade for me. And will be gone in the 3rd.

Schofield is 1 of the best late round OL in the draft. 6'6 300lbs. 5.01 in the 40 with a 1.71 10ys. Good size and athleticism. Versatile OL. Played OG for a full season then made the move to OT the next year.

Love Taylor Harts size for a 3-4 DE. Hes also big enough to move inside if he adds some weight. Hes 6'6 285lbs right now.

But, I do love optimum scoutings mock as well. Im just not that high on Fuller and dont think taking him 27th overall is that good of a pick value wise. On the other hand, I love the value of getting Matthews at 58 and Borland in the 3rd. I think Matthews will be a top 3 WR in this draft behind Watkins and Evans. Kids a baller.

Just did another one with walter player ranking. Probably my favorite one so far. I got great value at each pick.

quote:

27
WR BRANDIN COOKS
OREGON STATE
58
TE JACE AMARO
TEXAS TECH
91
CB KEITH MCGILL
UTAH
126
RB DRI ARCHER
KENT STATE
167
CB PHILLIP GAINES
RICE
169
C BRYAN STORK
FLORIDA STATE
202
CB AARON COLVIN
OKLAHOMA

Our offense goes from looking slow to being an absolute nightmare, with Gaines being able to contribute right away and Colvin taking a redshirt year.

I think Phillip Gaines is going to go a lot higher than most of us expect. He's definitely climbed into 2nd round consideration, and there's still a chance he makes it into round 1. He's got massive potential with his size/speed/length/production combo. The only problem has been the level of competition.

Yeah, it's not realistic. The draft is just taking so long that all we have to do is dream at this point.

I do love to dream. I know the feels man.

And I'm totally okay with the draft being pushed back a few weeks. I work the Zurich Classic every year and it's always been during the week of the draft which means I can't post up at home in my own draft HQ.

Now it's right at the end of finals week for me. My reward for finishing finals is watching my favorite TV event of the entire year.

Hes already been labeled the "best value pick in the 3rd round". Which means, he def could go in the 2nd. Especially if Fuller, Roby, Verrett, etc all go earlier than people though.
