As someone that's handled loss prevention, no I'm not.

Which is irrelevant since it has been well established this place doesn't offer free refills.

It was still wrong regardless. You should have just stuck to whining about banning me.

Typo. Sounds like an easy mistake to make. Let's fine him $525. That'll show him

Yes.

But you can try to explain yourself. Which companies have you done loss prevention for only look at the wholesale cost of the item and not the retail?

Loss prevention... The rustled jimmies are explained at least. Carry on then. Maybe you'll be the one dude who can finally 100% without a doubt win an argument on the OT.

Wow the butthurt over this is unreal. This not only stopped this guy from not paying for refills as posted it also stopped everyone else that ever frequents that cafeteria. No one would be stupid enough to risk it now and resources would not have to be wasted in there

i'm failing to see how that matters? They don't give free refills, so the guy was stealing. If he doesn't like the fine, perhaps he should make sure he isn't stealing next time. Or maybe you're right, it's fed gov's fault the guy stole.

Da fuq are you talking about...the guy said he tried to pay right on the spot and was refused that option. Total BS.

First off, props for bumpling an old thread just to stalk me.

Second, the article has been updated, and the fine has been turned into a warning. I'm sure the govt is still to blame.
