Good for you....stupid of our admin.

A big time opponent at home, not in NYC.

The only way we should be playing this game is in MetLife coupled with major TV money coming LSU's way.

Well if its is on I will be there – it will be a 2.5 hr drive for me. And as far as travel from the south – flts into Buff are available and it would be a little over 2 hrs from BLo to the cuse – Geaux Tigahs

Been going to games since 1982.....I was only 2 then so probably not much before then I don't think.

Besides what does that have to do with the stupidity of this game for LSU?

check into some of the sites in Adirondack Park. Lake Placid is sweet as well.

I'm pretty excited. Reasonable drive from Pittsburgh.

Have you checked the "hard reality" of the 2015 OOC home schedule ? I guess you don't want to blame Alleva for that cluster^&*$ either..lol

Yep. We have three of the slots filled and have 1 slot for an OOC game to be filled.

But, please... Do let me in on all the information that you are privy to re: scheduling and the contract negotiations therein. I mean, getting a major program with title aspirations to come to LSU for a night game couldn't be too complicated... Could it? And we want nothing but marquee OOC games in a playoff format... right?

I'm guessing this thread has been nothing but people bitching about having to travel to the Carrier Dome?

Pretty much. All of our home games should be against marquee opponents. All of our road games should be against marquee opponents, but they shouldn't be THAT good that given year. If we are playing a major program that isn't THAT great at the time, we should play them in the nearest neutral-site stadium (or did I get that backwards?). But we still don't like neutral-site games. At all.

You know... All issues that are really easy to reconcile with reality.

The rant won't be happy until our schedule looks like this happens:

@Ohio St.
@Oklahoma
@Mississippi St.
@Auburn
@Florida
@Florida St.
@UK
@Ole Miss
Alabama [MUST BE A NIGHT GAME]
@Arkansas
@Texas A&M
