Meh... sorta.

Hill has great size, but isnt the type of RB that lowers his shoulder and runs through people. Great footwork, vision, balance and can break through arm tackles. But hes not gonna plow people over. Hes at his best in the open field where he can use his great vision and footwork.

Deuce was a big, powerful RB with great speed. But he had more of a straight line running style. Hill is a little more slippery, while Deuce was a little more powerful.

They are sorta similar though. But have their own style.

Agree with the Arian Foster comparison. Also see a little bit of Forte in him.

Yeah he's too expensive for what we have currently on on the roster and with respect to our other needs. We need cb, oline (center especially),a possible lb to take over, and pass catching help in that area of the draft. Ingram and Khiry should be able to be more than adequate if the second half of last season is any indication.

I thought Lewis was a lot more compact than Hill wasn't he like 5'10 240 ish? Lewis did have that same balance in keeping his balance after initial contact that hill has.

I would say hill could come in be the best back we have in his second year but he could rush and receive for 1200 yards though. To me hill's best attribute is his vision and feet and he gets big gains cause of it.

To go along with good vision, balance & burst, Hill has very good hands as a receiver for a big back.

I see a page from the 2000 combine has his measured at 73 inches. I don't know if it's accurate. He's in the 5'11-6' range, though.

Both guys get moving in a hurry and have that downhill style of running. At 230-240, that's a lethal combo.

I like the jamal lewis and matt forte comparisons. They both run with enough speed and are more powerful than they show. Like someone said earlier hill doesn't lower his shoulder and run through people he slips through tackle with great balance and is very elusive for a guy his size

Jeremy Hill and Ray Rice are nothing alike. I like the other comparisons coming, though.

Hill reminds me of a faster OJ Anderson.

I've always thought and said he reminded me of Arian Foster.
