Brad Wilkerson of Florida hit one, albeit a foul ball, that bounced on Nicholson Drive and rolled under one of the oaks that front the highway and the west lot of Tiger Stadium.

He did it. I saw it.

The ball Mahtook hit over the scoreboard during a midweek game was a moonshine. I was calling that game for KLSU radio

yea we were out in left field drinking and heard it on the radio. Looked up and it went well over the A in Alex. it was a good distance into the staging area when i went to get it. randon note, that was his 2nd homerun as a tiger, the first came earlier in that game

I can assure you that I have in my possession, a ball hit by Brandon Larson, that I chased down on the opposit side of the married student housing after it hopped off the roof. Was standing in left field ran out the left field parking entrance near center field and found it in about a foot tall grass. This has been done a number of times. A few that come to mind, Wes Davis and Larson, and I am 85% confident Brad Hawpe ( didn't see it actually retrieved but was standing in the parking lot and saw it clear the second fence)

Don't mean to change subjects, but Brad Hawpe has my favorite HR celebration ever. 1:35

So you're sayin a left handed hitting, brad hawpe, sailed a ball over the married housing in left field? These fish stories are getting good

Maybe Hawpe was wrong... Can't think of the third. Maybe Cedrik Harris, it was the 98 team. But I spend most the time in te left field parking lot so I wasn't looking at the players. (I know Harris and Hawpe look like they could pass for brothers)

Guy from Tennessee in one of the hit the apartments behind left field. The ball was still climbing when it flew over my head.

I actually do recall Larson hitting one over there.

Brad Hawpe 100% did not hit a home run into the married student housing.

It absolutely was not Cedric Harris either.

From all the games that I saw, I have to agree with the person who said Bo Jackson. However, the shot was headed to Bernie Moore (over the center field fence).

The ones that were hit to center & right just don't seem as impressive because the building in left was like a bullseye. There may have been further ones but those just looked cooler. Lol
But hitting Nicholson down the RF line was a good shot but that prolly was only about 400
