And there it is
It was 9/11.

Our Ambassador was attending a poorly secured Consulate in an area previously abandoned by most Western Diplomats d/t safety concerns. Anything other than 0/0 foresight would have rendered the awful outcome predictable.

That was the info the CIA gave them.
Same excuse the Bush admin used for WMDs!

Rex pissed himself when he read this. He went apeshit over Bush accepting the CIA's WMD reason for Iraq. The same one that both houses of congress accepted as a reason to invade Iraq.

But it's ok now to stand by any CIA report for this president.

Double standard.

Problem is, it wasn't anywhere near the same standard.

The CIA had actual evidence for WMDs in the Iraq scenario. They produced it. It was evidence solid enough to convince not just Bush, but the US Congress with near unanimity, along with the Brits, etc.

In the case of the Benghazi attacks, there was no evidence whatsoever of a protest or demonstration preceding the Benghazi attack. NONE!

The streets were dead quiet in the prelude.
That was known real time.

The attacks were coordinated.
That was known real time.

There was no protest or demonstration extending down the street from Consulate to CIA Annex. There was a coordinated re-formation at the annex . . . complete with mortar positions!
That was known real time.

There were no sign wielding members of the entourage at either location, not one single sign, no press crews, no people parading in the street, no evidence of demonstrations, none at all.

There was no protest, and
that FACT was known real time.

Any follow up on the weapons cache they were sitting on being confiscated by the terrorists?

Are you eff'ing kidding?

The FBI spent more time in Scott Broadwell's house assessing Paula Broadwell's sexual habits than it did in Benghazi.
