I think the show is hilarious, and will get better as the characters and story develop further.
But I really enjoy the type of dry, awkward humor that they have on the show. I lost it at "Did you just take a sip from an empty cup?" I also love TJ Miller.

I think Steve Jobs was one of the most overrated people since Mohammed and that most of the corporate PC that comes out of silicon valley is pure horsecrap. Apparently the makers of this show agree with me.

Same here. I usually like him in other things I've seen, but it's like he tries too hard in Silicon Valley. He almost makes me not want to watch the show

I thought the pilot was meh. Watching episode two tonight.
P.S. Haven't read the rest of this thread but did anyone notice that the main character in SV is the peon who gets shitcanned and humiliated by Jonah Hill's character in Wolf of Wall Street for cleaning his fish bowl in-office on the day of the Steve Madden IPO?
ETA: P.P.S. - He plays the same exact pussy in Wolf.

i like the premise, but not the acting and writing thus far. its trying to be so overly nerdy that its stretching a lot for jokes. It's mostly just uncomfortable humor type stuff and weird mannerisms.
I think the only character I like is the dude with the glasses. I hate the guy that plays Richard, and I hate the long curly haired guy. I just find nothing about him funny.

I really like this show. Very interested to see how it plays out.
