Texas isnt going to lose many more games. They get Ok State at home and are 14-2 since dropping the Kansas series.

Yep. The only thing you can do is keep playing your game and fighting every pitch, every at bat, every play till the end of nine innings... then look up at the scoreboard and see where you stand.

Why are your friends so sensitive?

Why wouldn't I root for Alabama? If they keep leading the SEC, it helps us out a lot.

I didn't think Obama's pussified America had reached the Rant.

I wouldnt hold your breath for Alabama keeping it up. 2-2 against UAB and Auburn at home isnt that great. They hit the hard part of their schedule the rest of the way.

It does make sense for you to keep rooting for them though.

They scared to mix it up.

And as for Bama, their SEC schedule gets much harder in the next few weeks.

Since we have baseball fans in here, I just want to ask this question.....

AT WHAT HIGH SCHOOL, COLLEGE, OR PRO GAMES HAVE THESE USSSA ALL WORLD COACHES EVER SEEN A 3RD BASEMAN STAND ON THE BASE AND HOLD A KID ON?

The next time I see it, I may choke someone. So basically, I'm gonna choke someone next week.

Okay. I just got what you were trying to say... I thought you meant the 3 baseman grabbed the runner to hold him there so he couldn't tag home or something.

I'm guessing you're talking about your kids tournaments. I've never seen it before either. I have, however, seen a first baseman hold the runner with a guy on 2B in high school. That one baffled me.

Where did you see a third baseman hold someone on?

Every single game. It really grinds me gears when the coaches have no clue as to the game situation. I watched a team with a 2 run lead in the last inning have their third baseman standing on the bag to hold a runner on. Yeah, let's stop this guy from stealing home with our pitcher in the stretch, and not worry about fielding a ground ball from the batter. Cause you know, that runner at third is super important when you have the 2 run lead.
