I keep all of my pins on a merit badge sash since I don't own a flatbill. I wear all 102 of them to all shows for public admiration. I don't wear scrubz.

I have a stealy patch on my hat. That's about as close as I'm going to get.

Plus I make fun of my friend for his pinz all the time so I can't be a hypocrite

The whole pin thing goes right over my head. So you stick like...pins in your hat while like...going to see bands and living in parking lots? But...why? Cause it looks cool? Do you they make you a bigger badass on lot? Is it part of some sort of lot-gang affiliation ritual?

I have a lot of questions really

I guess my crunchy gnar levels aren't high enough to understand

I understand the allure because they are collectors items. It's like collecting marbles, coins, baseball cards or stamps. They have resale and aesthetic value. Some wook will make some then pedal them online or in the lot and actually make a nice amount of money to be able to go on tour. But yea for the most part it's douhebags that wear pins. lame sts9 and pretty lights pins. That shits pretty ghey. Only good pins are the grateful dead, phish, and bosco pins.

I think there are some pretty cool rare pins just like rare lot posters and tshirts. If I had an extra $1000 to spend I would start a really gnarly bisco pin collection. They have a different pin for all 400 songs and each individual tour, some time show. I don't understand why people wear them. I'd put mine in a glass display case and only wear one or two of the ultra headiest to shows.

Eta: also people give you free drugz when you wear pins and wraps ;)

That all makes sense I guess. The collecting part.

It's just the whole lot scene is a weird place to me. Like how these people decided one day "hey i'm gonna be a piece of shite and live in parking lots" instead of like being a contributing member of society is all very strange to me.

If it wasn't for them how would I get $1 grilled cheeses and 2 for 1 Rolling Rock deals?

For that I am grateful

Captain Panic,

we should post the best Jimmy Herring and Barber solos and let the music board decide which one is better

You've obviously never lived with the phish or biscuits family. Smgdh.

Merch is a way of life and if your merch isn't heady enough then you aren't getting into phish. That's how it is.

You Better get a screen print or a tank or you can go back home and live with mommy and mis teuer. It's rough life but who sees more phish shows when it's all said and done. Exactly.

Now pretty lights family that is a whole different story.

Being apart of PL family is like having the mafia having your back. Nothing like having a carefree night of bobbing your head to "Finally Moving" with out having to worry about some jerk off Jabroni cocksucker ruining it by trying to steal your pins. The family has your back

So, after boofing liquid deemsters with the family all night the Rev decided it was time to make it official. It was a very special time. Not everyone gets pinned for real. Lots of kidz buy their pins and its not right. So, the Rev found the scummiest crackhead on lot to pin me. Before it could really be official I had to dose rape a 14 year old and ruin his life for stealing a tank from a friend of a friend of a friend 4 years ago in ohio. Then I had to contract hep C. Once I was truly a disgrace to all humans I was pinned. We cried in the back of the Rev's '88 Corolla and all too thumbprints in the Denny's parkinglot. Afterward we all had dinner, and my girl whispered in my ear, "You deserve this, baby" and then she farted on my cock.
