so next time they are in trouble we should not bail them out since our priorities are mixed up

One other important this about Europe: Your life is almost always defined by your birth. If you are born poor, you die poor. In America, many of our wealthiest and most influential people were born into no status or money at all. That isnt the case there

Wow, I remember when I used to sleep that late. But then I got dogs about 20 years ago. They have a different schedule.

I work 60 or more hours a week. I get a call from our nightman saying we have oxygen problems on the catfish ponds at fricking 2 a.m and have to get up and throw on clothes and haul arse down to the farm to make sure we keep our fish alive. I don't bitch about it I love what I do and we make a lot of money but then again I don't value free time I value money and social status.

I can not fathom how you can have disdain for someone who chooses to work for that long. Maybe he likes his job. Maybe he likes the money. If nothing else, he does not require the coerced labor of others to fulfill his desires.

there is nothing, nothing...that cannot wait until monday.
Just wait until physicians start adopting this philosophy. If/when things deteroriate under the ACA and provider shortages, you will have many people getting the "our office is currently closed" or "call back on Monday" prompts.
Surely you will have empathy for the abused, short handed care givers?? Right comrades??

I don't care how much or little another works. It doesn't effect me. Until they try to substitute their lack of income for mine.

You just surpassed Rex for the dumbest poster on the political board. All in one topic.

I don't give a shite how many hours one works. But to equate a 60,70,80 hour work week with manliness is fricking stupid. And anyone who voluntarily works that much is an arse kissing retard.

Jism Jeff strikes with more profundities! Take heed board!
I'm pretty sure you convinced everybody that people should not have the freedom to decide what they want to do with their time/labor and how they should feel about said labor/time.
In a related note, I recently met a rather limited guy with a HS education who had earned over 250k working 10 months straight in Africa. I couldn't do it. His goal was to pay off his home/debts and fund his early retirement with five intense years. I'll let him know you think he's "a fricking stupid arse kissing retard". I'm sure he will be crushed.

I probably work 15 - 20 hours a week, but when someone needs me, I'm there. And yes, that part does make me more of a man.

This. Unfortunately technology has created an expectation of always being available. I still try and control it, but have no issue occasionally sifting through email at home or on vacay.
