i always pictured Sansas escape being at night. Kind of diminishes it if she is climbing down the cliff on a bright and sunny aftrernoon

well, they will probably go to that same spot that Bronn and Jaime dueled at that "no one will see or hear them" at

eta: and I also imagined the wedding feast being in a great hall of the red keep and at night

It could have been late afternoon and by the time she got down there, dark had fallen.

Yep. This irked me so I went back and read. Indeed, it was at night, in the Throne Room, and it was a more raucous affair. They were drunk, loud, and there was even a stabbing.

I don't know why they changed it to the daytime either.
I liked the way they portrayed the poison though. I'm interested to see Littlefinger's dialogue with Sansa next episode.
Also bye bye Dontos.

I can't believe how many Hodors think that Joffrey's death makes Margaery the ruler of Westeros

Me too; I pictured the wedding to be in the early evening and Sansa's escape happening at night.

I know Shae called Tyrion her Lion, is Sansa the Rose?

The theorizing over there is amusing at times.

I figured maybe Sansa could be the Rose because of her red hair

Or that godzilla of a period.

Yeah. The fact that they put it outside instead of inside struck me more than moving it from night to day. Not sure why they did that. Maybe to save costs on a building huge enough to fit all those people in? I don't think the room they set the red wedding would have done it and I'm trying to remember if there were any other indoor scenes that showed a room that big.

I think it would have been much more difficult to spell out what was happening with the wine, poison, necklace, etc. in the dark. Lighting by candles alone would have made it damn near impossible for viewers to take all of it in.

They also are VERY proud of the costumes on this show and probably wanted to flaunt it some more. I too have been surprised at the smaller scale of all the "events" but I guess its budget issues. The castles seem gigantic due to CGI but the rooms are usually small.

It is cracking me up that there are people suspecting Sansa.

What would lead them to believe that Sansa had the backbone, capability, and ruthlessness to murder someone?

I just assume over half the people in the Hodor thread are actually book readers trolling.

Makes it a much funnier read, and stops the temptation from trying to police the thread.

Last year I crusaded about Eman being a bookreader and got nowhere, nice to see him brought to justice at least.

If you'll notice most people that post in that thread all said they knew from one form or another that Joffrey was going to die from being "spoiled" somewhere. Then they go on to make speculations. They're all tainted goods.

I mean you don't read into Sansa's POV in the show. She obviously has dealt with Joff killing her father right in front of her and then the rest of her family was killed at a wedding just before. She certainly has motive.
