First inning of championship game he most definitely hit a 3 run jack, left center. Bomb.

Nope.

Robichaux and Hill were forced to sit out one game and therefore could not participate in Sunday's second game.

"The suspension of the player who threw the bat in the dugout (Hill) is covered under the fight rule," explained umpiring crew chief Ken Eldridge, "which says any kind of abuse, which is equipment or anything else, is construed as fighting, and his suspension is one game."

I think you're crazy if you think he had that much control of his bat.

He looked dejected as soon as it happened.

If he was such a gamer who tried harder than everyone else on the field, why would he do something to take him off the field for the next elimination game?

Emotions. Plain and simple.

He's a first rounder, who has enoughbat control to hit for the cycle twice in one year. Aaron hill has enough bat control to sling it towards a dugout, my friend.

Tompkins won a game in that regional, i dont think he pitched much though

found it:

In Sunday’s first game against Louisiana-Lafayette, Jake Tompkins bounced back from a five-inning relief win against Southern on Friday night to pitch into the seventh inning against the Cajuns in a 12-2 win for the Tigers.

So he won 2 starts for LSU in the regional and made the all tournament team

Wasn't it really that he was blinded by the dyed hair of the USL players?

I was sitting behind first base dugout. It was a perfect view. Intentional all the way. He looked dejected because he realized he'd done something really stupid and was gonna suffer for it.

Pine tar and batting gloves =\= accidental oops.

Call me crazy though.

I'm not willing to say with certainty that he did it on purpose. But you never know when someone could get lost in a moment like that and will do something they will regret, or something that they don't fully know the consequences of. How would Hill know that the ump would deem it to be intentional and that it would result in him being thrown out and suspended for the next game? Again, none of us know for sure, but like another poster said, we had a few assholes on those late-Skip teams and Smoke teams.

He gave that swing a full cut. No one has that kind of bat control when the bat is moving that fast

Aaron Hill does. I played college baseball, its not the only time I've seen it happen. It was intentional, chief.

Because you say so? Ok

Either way, i was friends with many LSU players, as that was my sophomore year. I'll take Lane Mestepey's recount of the situation over yours.

So because you say so, it has to be true. You're the one acting like you know it for a fact, not me
