Agreed. That excitement for an event that builds up over a month or two isn't there anymore (unless it's a big card, ie: 168).

Agreed. I think that was the sweet spot.
I can't keep up with who most of these fighters are now.
Maybe the UFC needs another WEC, except as sort of a minor league branch instead of the lesser weight divisions (which I don't mind). That way when a UFC fight actually does roll around, it's still a special night and not just overexposure.

I do wonder if Bellator will make them change their strategy for so many fights. Bellator is going to get more talented fighters organically and pay competitive rates in a few years. UFC won't be the only way for some of these no-name guys to make a name

Bellator has "seasons" where there is an event every Friday and then they're off the air for a while

What he means is that some of the fights aren't available on Fight Pass for on demand until 30days after the fight due to blackout restrictions with Fox.
I don't know of what you're complaining about. You can just not buy Fight Pass and guess what? Still have your pay per view Ufc event 4times a year.
The weekly events are there for those that want to see them. I don't understand how any of this is watered down. These fights were always happening. It's just now I can watch them online.

I don't think most events are free either. There are probably as many or more ppvs than free fight nights and now add in fight pass shite.
