The Spurs are just a well oiled machine. Everything is so effortless and fine tuned.

Pop is good at getting players who're willing to conform to the system he runs. Having some success with that obviously helps, but there's no room for players who're concerned in the slightest about personal stats. Not easy to find among elite NBA players.

Boris Diaw used to be such a frickin bum. Now he is a very nice player.

Well, Boris was no slouch in Phoenix. Gave us fits in the playoffs with D'Antoni and the SSoL Suns. Him getting suspended along with Amare Stoudemire when they left the bench area after the Horry hip check was huge. I believe Boris won Most Improved Player one year with the Suns, as well, iirc.

My wet dream match up is ESPN's worst nightmare... Spurs vs Pacers in a 7 game series

Indy has always been my East team (grew up loving David Robinson and Reggie Miller as my two favorite players). Been robbed of my dream SAS/Indy matchup twice now ('99 and '13). Maybe this year......?

His Charlotte years stick out in my mind (especially his last year there). I just remember him being fat and lazy.

He was definitely a fatass (hell, I still call him LandWalrus, affectionately ). I honestly think he was just in a situation he didn't like and quit giving a shite. Not very professional of him, but I can't say I blame him, tbh.

Btw, Pels are hanging around in this game.......

I would love to see the battle down low in that series. Duncan/Splitter/Diaw vs Hibbert/West/Scola

Then of course you have Leonard and George going at each other.

Would be terrific. And Scola will always be the one that got away for the Spurs' front offics

Which would be even more compelling given the Kawhi/Georgie backstory (SA traded Hill to Indy for Leonard, even though Hill was literally Pop's favorite player. Hell, he's still beloved in SA).

Pels cut it to 10. They're playing with confidence and great ball movement, while SA is getting sloppy.

Babbitt has changed his shot in mid-air 3 or 4 times in this game. His fakes on the ground are possibly the worst in the league so I guess he figured the next best thing is to double-pump in mid air.

What a strong drive. Rivers got fouled there, I thought.

Story of his life. Him and Gordon constantly get mauled with no calls. Both teams running small right now.

That was ridiculous. Baynes lowered the boom on him. His fouling arse usually doesn't get away with that, tbh.

I'd rather Manu's hair than Roberts.
