This place looks better than Five Guys.

Lafayette people, have you tried the JSP Burger at Jefferson Street Pub?

LEGIT!!!

My fav burger in Laffy without a doubt. Better than Who Daqs, Fat Pats and Burgersmith, IMHO

BTW the DQ in Vidor is king.

Steve Peloquin says that's the best DQ in the country. 2nd best is Troy, AL.

Just what lafayette needs. Another burger joint.

x 2

add another establishment to this list:

Fat Pat's
Ground Pati
5 guys
Twins
Southside
Legends
Burgersmith
Judice Inn
Pete's .... haven't been there in forever

sure I missed a few

I'll go try/support Grub Burger , and give an honest review. Just soooooo many places to eat burgers in Laffy. Since I live in Youngsville, I usually do Morvants if wanting to order out

here's the skinny .... Grub Burger

.... " Grub Burger may be a franchise and fast-casual, but it’s contemporary, and the menu and atmosphere reflect a brand that understands consumers are looking for something more than greasy brown bag drive-thru meals — if you can even call that a meal — and prices that should come with a gold platter. What people want is delicious food at a reasonable price. Well, at Grub Burger Bar you’re in the right place for both, says Klock, who knows her customers will be satisfied with the product and prices ranging from $6.50-$11.

The menu is packed with bold ideas like the Ghost Burger, which brings the heat with spicy pepper jack cheese, ghost pepper chili sauce and grilled jalapeños, or, for those non-thrill seekers, the Thai Peanut Burger delivers layers of peanut butter, roasted peanuts and hints of cilantro and coconut. Often consumers are worried about fillers and quality of beef, but Grub Burger serves certified Angus chuck and brisket patties ground in-house daily — as for the buns, those are baked from scratch every hour for freshness (which keeps the restaurant smelling heavenly).

It’s not all about the beef, mind you — the Luau fries are cheese fries-meets-Hawaiian tropics with pulled pork, grilled pineapple, jalapeños and a teriyaki and barbecue dipping sauce, and then there are the Shiner Bock hand-battered onion rings that deliver the right amount of crunch and zing from a side of chipotle ketchup. To cool your palate, you’ll want to save room for a hand-spun milkshake — make it a spiked mint chocolate chip if you dare with vodka, coffee liqueur, creme de mènthe, Andes mints and chocolate .... One of my old high school buddies is one of the chain developers from Atlanta - they came from Outback Steakhouse. Met him over at the Houston location when we played Wisconsin, and the food and drinks were legit. He let us sample pretty much everything, and they were all great. Try the "Kitchen Sink" or the "American Pie" shakes and the "You're my Boy Blue Burger". You wont be disappointed. I'm Looking forward to the ones to open in the BR market.

I ate at the one in Midland last month. I believe I may have even posted a thread here prior asking if anyone had tried the place, but I'm too lazy to search.

It had been open for only about a week, and the to-go order line was out the door, which had to suck for those people because it was 100 degrees at 5:30pm that day.

Sat at the bar. They had the best craft beer selection I've seen yet at an establishment in Midland. However, when the 2nd best selection thus far seems to have been the Marriott Springhill Suites bar...well...

I honestly wasn't impressed with the burger. Max's, Fat Pat's, Legends and Morvant's in Lafayette are all better IMO.

Geez, if Grub is "damn good burgers", either the one in Midland is a shitty representation of the chain, or Dallas has shitty burgers to compare it to.
