You cant convert 200 or 100 to 40s but but he ran a 10.68 and won regionals last year. Would have placed in state but only ran a the 4x1 relay because of injury. Btw that dude he beat is gonna be on D1 track team guarenteed in a couple years. So yea Leonard is plenty fast. Imagine him coming at you at that speed. Peep the link LINK

Haha. The kid is incredibly fast for his size though. The most freakishly fast man I've seen in person at state was mingo. He ran a sub 47 second 400 meter dash.

Wonder why they didn't give him the final leg

The fastest guy doesn't alway run the anchor leg. If you have significantly slower people or one that is really fast you can put him second (or third) and have him get the baton early in the exchange zone and hand it off late in the next next exchange zone so your fastest guy runs a longer leg then the other legs.

You can do the same for the anchor leg but only once, since the anchor only makes one exchange.

What some forget is that Leonard was not rated the best back in Louisiana or the best back in the region, but the best back in the nation. There are not many DB's who will be able to catch Leonard once he gets ten yards past the LOS and not many who will want to tackle him at that point either.

Leonard is a easy two levels above Hill as high school seniors. What he will become in the next two years will be the question.

U gotta be drunk. Have you ever seen Karr run? Nothing easy about a region with Karr's track team.

Good night that's fast. By comparison, Xavier Carter ran 20.49 s in the 200M in high school while weighing 50 lbs less than LF.

I am guessing you didn't read the link.

The conversion is adjusted and it is obviously just a guideline.

It is far better to attempt to use 100m times as a guideline, than the hand-timed silliness that comes out high school (where kids routinely claim sub 4.3 40s).

To put this in perspective, Odell Beckham ran the 200m with a time of 22.31 in high school.

He looks like he's running the wrong damn race. Like a HS senior who accidentally wandered into the middle school races. Good GRIEF!!!

Well at least 4.3 40s are routine, maybe not sub 4.3 (but I have seen them claimed in the past).

*Here are a couple of examples:
Da'rick Rodgers: Claimed 4.34/Reality 4.55
Ryan Ayers: Claimed 4.31/Reality 4.49
Qudral Forte: Claimed 4.38/Reality 4.59
