With the jackasses we have calling the shots, I wouldnt be to sure that they even consider the aftermath of something like that.

did watch... And my first thought was "wow, that's a cool phenomenon. Nature sure is awesome!" Not "The Government conspired to detonate an atmospheric nuclear device in clear violation of several international treaties and with blatant disregard of the radioactive fall out that proceeded to piss all over a population center and effectively managed to convince an air force base, the national weather service, the US Geological survey and thousands of civilians to all deny that the explosion took place"

Wow! Your assholery knows no bounds!

I'm not sure who you quoted, because that never came from me. I guess aholes just pull quotes out of thin air!

Dude, there are several posters in this thread saying stuff like "wouldn't surprise me if we did detonate a nuke" "the jackasses wouldn't even care about fall out". So don't act like I'm pulling this out of thin air. This board is full of these guys who believe in a monolithic shadow government contestantly engaging in nefarious activities trying to control us ordinary citizens.

When someone makes an extraordinary claim, a rational person's first reaction should be "bullshite! Show me definitive proof of your claim", Not "yeah, that sounds like something the government would try to pull off, I'll just assume it's true unless it's proven otherwise"

Yes it does. Which is why it's ridiculous to believe that it is competent enough to pull off massive cover-ups involving 1000's of people over extended periods of time.

Also, those who just want to believe apparently aren't smart enough to remember that nuclear detonations can be picked up by seismographs ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE frickING PLANET! Remember how we found out about that whole "North Korea tries to set off a nuclear bomb thing"? Yeah. Seismographs. I'm sure Russia would have a whole lot to say if they detected we were breaking treaties right now, wouldn't they?

fricking idiots.

Seismometers all over the US would have picked up an unreported explosion and it would've been reported by several geological communities if true. That is, after all, how we determine when test are performed by other countries.

Take your conspiracy theory elsewhere.

Is it really hard for the OT to admit aliens are behind this?

I agree with you! But you were directing your attitude toward me as if I was the one making the outlandish claims. Check yourself.

This is an honest question. Not trying to be sarcastic/flame/etc.

With which religion do you associate?

I am actually on White Sands right now. A launch was conducted on Monday by the Navy, and the range roads were closed off from any access, until around 9 AM. It was no nuke or anything crazy like that, just a normal test, that happens here all the time. Army, Air Force, Navy, NASA, Raytheon, Northrop Gruman, General Dynamics, & so on are all here. Missiles and rockets are engineered here every day, and eventually tested. This was nothing new...

The test was suppose to be conducted last week on Thursday, but because of a wind storm blowing in, the test was pushed back until Monday.

There has also been a dust storm over the area for almost the entire week.

Oh and aside from being here currently, I work in Air Defense

I do not associate with a religion, as that would make my previous statement ironic and hypocritical.

That brings up a greater point though as I find most people who identify as religious also are susceptible to believing in things like Sasquatch, Alien Abduction, Ghosts, Demonic Possession and things like HAARP mind control, Chem Trails, the JFK conspiracy, etc... Things that require suspension of disbelieve or at least acceptance of circumstantial and dubious evidence as "proof".

Sorry... I like facts and proof before believing in things.
