Myers would be your best outfielder and Infante is like 34. Moustakas has been a pretty solid bust. I like the Royals but you can't argue that Moore has mismanaged them to this point and it's unfulfilled potential

Braves win almost every year. Royals have been building for the future for 30 years.

i do like the Royals this year, but Moustakas and Hosmer must hit.

Shields is a FA next year and isnt getting any younger. Wil Myers can make that trade look really worthless.

btw i played little league with Hosmer

Why did you pick the worst players?

Omar Infante .450 slug

Hosmer (23) started the season batting .262 with 1HR and didn't start hitting until late June finished hitting .302 with 17HR's

Salvador Perez .433 slugging

Billy Butler .459 .510 last season

the other guys are just fluff.

You haven't made the playoffs in 29 years. Congrats on the moral victories.

Who has this world class farm system produced recently (besides Hosmer) that is currently a contributor for the Royals?

I can't believe it took that long for someone to say something about that. Kimbrel is best closer in the game.

Holland was as good as Kimbrel last year, but he definitely doesn't have the track record. You can't go wrong with Kimbrel, Chapman, Holland or Jensen, but yeah, if I had to take one it would be Kimbrel.

The Wil Myers trade was still pretty terrible though.

Getting a first rounder for a mediocre pitcher like Santana is ridiculous.
Even more ridiculous are these "competitive balance" picks.

Royals will get another one next year for Shields, if they don't deal him at the deadline. Royals look like a 4th or 5th place team, so they might.
