You kids are funny. I guess I have too much faith in your intelligence to understand the entire message from my previous post. All you read was "blunt". I stand corrected.

well i still see you are avoiding the question concerning your idol billy cannon and him being a convicted felon, so which is more worthy, your billy cannon convicted felon or lil boosie.

So is cannon part of that laying in the gutter smoking a blunt society that you speak of?

Who is idolizing Lil Boosie?

He is a musician with a checkered legal background, kind of like a Jerry Lee Lewis or Led Belly (for you old timers).

He grew up around the corner from LSU and wants to see LSU succeed, and said so. I don't think anyone is suggesting that he should be a role model, but his endorsement is not a bad thing.

To me, it is just not that big of a deal.

P.S. I am posting this from my condo on the beach in Perdido Key.

Why do people try to bring up something else in a discussion which has no bearing on what is being talked about. This is a ploy kids use, " well johnny did it too". Who cares. I didn't talk about anybody else other than your apparent idol. The fact of the matter is if you support this thug, then you are lost.

Now you're being ridiculous.

APHA and Older Generations: We still live in a nation called America where every man is due his day in court. This mans past is not to be celebrated(he admits that). However he has admitted his guilt and served his time. He is focused on his family, freedom, music and Tigers. Men and women of this older generation, does this man not deserve a second chance? What would Jesus do?

Gramps, I can't stand that type of set up and lifestyle either but I'm not gonna sit here and judge the guy over shite that he has paid his debt to society.

I'm sure your life was perfect and you never once fricked up but give this guy another chance at least till he fricks up again.

The kids that play for lsu listen to this music and listen to what these guys have to say so I'm all for him promoting lsu.

Quit wasting time on a message board while you're supposedly in the tropics on vacation.

Good concept. You're right, Im sure LSU administration doesn't give a "frick" about what donors and general fanbase that pay the bills thinks especially when it comes to piece of shite convicted felon. Just the caliber idiot LSU wants. Let me guess, bitch I'm from Lousiana is your ring tone?

No offense, but I almost laughed reading that crap. You must be the biggest baby back bitch to feel threatened and appalled that a guy who did jail time supports LSU. I'm no census bureau, but I'm pretty sure there are a bunch of felons who like LSU. If anybody is baby enough to stop donating to the school because Boosie supports that school, then they aren't true Tiger's anway. BTW I don't think most are that stupid.

Since you're a retard, you'll never get it. While a lot of rap lyrics are meant to brag about what they have, they also almost always tell you about grinding in whatever you do from sun up to sun down. Having a good time and parting is what young people do also so why wouldn't it be? The other thing, about this role model stuff, has got to end. These guys aren't going to sell drugs because (insert favorite rapper "says" he did). They do it because it's a struggle, and the guys on the streets offer them a quicker way to get paid, and paid better than most. Lot of the ones that do it also try to feed the family. Looking at moms struggle while you're 14-15 with no daddy around makes some believe they have to step up to take that role, and step up fast. They do look up to them as somebody who made it out though, as many poor blacks struggle to do even with help. They get in trouble more by listening to their own friends and having no father, than they do to a rapper. I'm black and I've seen all this crap before. Boosie touches on a lot of struggles for a young black man which is why he is so got damn popular.

Now with younger white people, they just like the attitude I guess. There are way more younger white people into "black stuff" than it was just 10-15 years ago. The two are coming together and I think that's better for the world. Nobody is lighting up because of a rapper, and nobody is shooting anybody because of a rapper.

Old timers rolling hard tonight. All the references to "they" shows your true colors. You listen to your type of music because you can relate to. Just as everyone else.

So, most of the kids coming to LSU to play football and basketball will relate to Boosie. This is nothing but good for LSU.

And to bring up the OJ trial after failing to answer the Billy Canon questions...you are so mad right now. This team would probably be soft if every kid came here because of your favorite artists.
